UNIQUE JOURNAL DESIGN The Caduceus is a mythological/magical artifact. It belonged to the planetary god Mercury / Hermes, ruler of Gemini. The wings of the Caduceus gave the god of travel supernatural speed, while the intertwined serpents held the power of wisdom. The staff itself acted as a wand to direct its extraordinary magic. Atop the wand, sits a pine-cone, symbolizing enlightenment.
