Lo stile è dark con richiami oro antico, applicazioni di scudi e altri dettagli antichizzati. La tela ha uno sfondo nero, tipico del tenebrismo del XVII secolo, secondo l'ispirazione del periodo, attraverso un dipinto dell'artista Alonso Sanchez Coello e modificato dall'autrice della serie storica Barbara Laudato.
