Michael FalkThese cards were designed to help structure discussions in a first year seminar course at Johns Hopkins University. They encourage students to practice respectful and reflective practices when engaging others around academic topics. They also introduce an element of play into the discussion to decrease students' anxieties about making mistakes or sharing ideas with which others may disagree.
